Flowers so often accompany us in life’s major moments, connecting people in times of celebration and remembrance. When they are grown seasonally, as they are at Old Trickey’s Flower Farm, flowers capture the very essence of these fleeting moments in time and in nature.

The changing seasons are celebrated here; whether that is by evoking feelings of a bright Spring day, a lazy Summer’s afternoon in a country garden or a crisp Autumn walk past fruited hedgerows. Alongside beautiful seasonal focal flowers and foliage, you can always expect a signature wild touch, mirroring our beautiful woodland edge location and the landscape around us, from wispy grasses and wildflowers to dried seed pods and foraged foliage. 

Something that has always been central to me as a flower grower is scent. I first felt inspired to start my own cut flower patch in a corner of the vegetable garden because I could never feel any emotion towards imported flowers whose scent had been destroyed by chemical processing and then shipped many miles. My arrangements are the antithesis of this - full of life, personality and, of course, scent.

You won’t find imported flowers here nor flowers that will fit through a letterbox. I have the luxury of picking what is at its absolute best each day. Each arrangement is as unique as you are and we are always happy to personalise your order however big or small with your favourite flower, colour or style depending on what we have growing.
